Biscuit came to us when her owner was struggling to care for her. She is a one year old Shar Pei. She is a sweet girl but needs entropion surgery and to be spayed.

Meet Bandit, a 7-week-old cattle dog mix. He was left by the dumpster next to the Yakima Humane Society like trash. The shelter is literally overflowing with animals people no longer want or that were dumped and there was no room for this 6-pound spitfire. So we were called to help. Bandit needs to get a little older, get vaccines, and be medically cleared for adoption.

Princess’s owners had some major changes in their lives and in a heartbreaking decision had to give them up. We were glad to reassure them that she and her brother, Little Frankie, would be well taken care of in one of our amazing foster homes until we can find them a forever home together … possibly with a senior as part of our Seniors for Seniors program. Princess is a white multipoo and is 7 years old. She is a very sweet dog and we are dedicated to helping her and her brother through this transition. She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids! Princess and her brother will be available soon for adoption after a complete vet check.

Beau is a sweet border collie mix who once belonged to a homeless man who couldn’t keep him. He was starving for attention and is getting lots of it from the kids in his foster home who are also learning about how to give back through fostering. He is a loyal, smart, farm working dog and also wants a family to love him! Once Beau has been medically cleared, fully vaccinated, and neutered he will be available for adoption.

Coco and her three babies came to us recently from the Yakima Humane Society after being found abandoned under a house. They are now with one of our amazing fosters and will be going to the vet soon for a wellness check. They will also need vaccines, and will need to get spayed and neutered (along with their mamma) when it’s time.

This is 8-month-old Maple. She and her siblings were found cold and wet in an apple box somewhere around Yakima in October and brought to the shelter. She was adopted but is not doing well with the other dogs in the house and needs a new home. She is very smart and a fast learner. She’s good with cats and loves kids! She’s around 12 pounds, fully vaxed, spayed and chipped. Once cleared by the vet, she will be available for adoption.
