Frankie, who is around 1-2, came from the shelter, where he wasn’t doing well in the environment and shutting down. He is scared of women and unsure of the world, and needs to build confidence. He’s great with cats and other dogs after proper introductions and is a very handsome fellow! We are waiting until he has more training and has built more trust for humans until he will be available for adoption.

The Yakima shelter requested that we take in this puppy, found abandoned and extremely frightened of people. His foster (and our trainer) is working on socializing him. He is good with other dogs, but still very wary of people. Once he is less frightened and wary, he will be ready for adoption. In the meantime, we are also getting him shots and putting him on the books for a neuter.

Ernie was brought to our attention by Ellensburg animal control. He and his brother (both seniors) were brought in from a bad situation in which the family was struggling and the dogs never left the house. We tested both, and Hank, the other dog which is a german shorthair, is not good with cats. They didn’t seem to be particularly bonded, so they asked if we could at least take this little guy since we didn’t have any fosters without cats. He’s a happy, affectionate little man and will be perfect for our Seniors for Seniors program once we get him checked out.

The Ellensburg shelter also told us about Annie, a senior cat with a great personality, but that was overlooked because of her age. She went to one of our cat fosters and fit in immediately. She gets along with other cats, and loves to cuddle. She will be great for our Seniors for Seniors program once we have our vets check her out.
