We can’t save them alone.
Thanks to our community partners, we don’t have to.
Thank you to our GOLD Sponsors!
Club 301 is a major supporter of the ranch, sponsoring Dachshunds & Friends on Parade, as well as other events to raise money for animals wounded in body and spirit. Their fantastic new patio is also a regular location for our animal meet and greets and adoption events - where people can enjoy a delicious cocktail in the sun while petting some amazing dogs who are looking for their forever home.
TM Construction
(206) 434-5143
TM Construction is a major sponsor of the ranch, and helps us by matching 50 percent of the proceeds from our annual garage sale. TM Construction was formed by combining Ponderosa Construction LLC (owned by friend Henry Thomas) and Mountain Construction owned by Troy Morris. Ponderosa Construction handles all the commercial side of the business, while Mountain Construction handles the residential side.
Buddy’s Barkery is Josie’s favorite place to go for treats, gifts and accessories. Baker Tim is one of our favorite people, baking up Buddy Cookies daily to sell, with proceeds benefiting the ranch. The ranch also has packaged banana and peanut butter hearts with proceeds going to help animals wounded in body and spirit. You can also stop by the Barkery to buy a Josie’s Misfit Ranch T-shirt or to drop off a donation.
Milton and Bev Johnston, who run Johnston Property Management, donated to the ranch in memory of Milton’s wife Joan Johnston, who passed away in 2018.
Joan's love of animals led her to help start the Kittitas County Friends of Animals, which has cared for and found homes for thousands of animals since its inception in 2005. Josie’s Misfit Ranch is grateful for not only this amazing gift and to Joan’s memory, but to KCFOA who continues to work hard in the community to help animals in need.

Thank you to our valued sponsors!
The owners of Ellensburg Pet Lodge are not only $250 cash sponsors, they also donated a much-needed incubator to help us save newborn kittens whose chances of survival are slim without a way to regulate their temperature. The owners of the Pet Lodge also foster kittens for us, so they understood the great need of having an incubator to increase survival of these tiny souls.
The Pet Lodge also takes in some of our fosters when their regular fosters are out of town. We appreciate all they do for rescue!
Grelish Law has a history of supporting animal welfare, including the Yakima Humane Society and Josie’s Misfit Ranch. Nancy Reynolds Hoffman
Animal advocate and
incubator donor
Nancy Reynolds Hoffman purchased an incubator for the ranch so we can continue to save more kittens! Nancy has been involved in rescue most of her life and still transports animals in need and helps when she can. She told us:
“Thank you for what you do for the animals. I know that rescue is thankless at times and since I am no longer able to participate like I used to I am doing this to honor my Dad, Jim Reynolds, who passed away in March. He was very supportive of me when I was in rescue and left me some funds.”

Miners Pizza and Pastry Co. not only has supplied delicious custom baked goods for some of our events, but they also have an option for you to “round up” for misfits when you purchase one of their bake-at-home pizzas or other goodies. Not only can you have them make dinner for you, but you can feel good about it by sending a little extras to animals in need!
Tito’s Vodka has a history of loving animals, and brand themselves as the vodka for dog people. We can concur this is accurate, as they have helped support the ranch by hosting events as well as donating $1,000 to help us help more animals.
Pals4Paws is an amazing non-profit that helps small, rural rescues like ours. They donated $4,000 (two $2,000 grants) directly to our vets so we could help some of our most concerning cases. Please consider helping them, so they can help other rescues!
The City of Ellensburg has granted us $2,800 to help educate our fosters and others on responsible pet care. We are launching the program in 2024 and look forward to helping strengthen the bond between humans and animals through this program.
Ellensburg Downtown Association
The Ellensburg Downtown Association has helped support the ranch by promoting our events and allowing us to take over their Dachshunds and Friends on Parade event. We love hosting events downtown, where there is a growing, vibrant collection of great restaurants, and unique stores.
