Do you have an animal that needs our help?
Animals are in crisis and there are more in need than we can help. We will only take animals that we have the resources to support, and the right foster who can help them heal. But once in our care, you can be assured we will do everything we can for them to live an amazing life.
We prioritize taking animals wounded in body and spirit - those with physical and behavioral issues that can be helped with the proper care and training, but who are at risk for euthanasia without it. We also prioritize animals in Kittitas County, and then in Yakima County as the need locally is so great. We also work closely with the Ellensburg and Yakima shelters, taking animals that are at risk in a shelter environment and need extra time and care. It’s a complicated process at times deciding which animals we can help - based on what fosters we have available, how much we feel we can help, and our financial situation. We wish we could take them all, but we can’t.
