There are many ways you can help an animal in need.

 
 

Foster.

 

Foster parents are true heroes, taking in animals in crisis and helping them feel safe and loved while they wait for their forever family. Without foster parents, we would be unable to rescue the animals we do and give them better lives. Fostering animals in Ellensburg also has many rewards: You get to see an animal blossom and grow before your very eyes, and you get to learn more about animals and how resilient and thankful they are. Fostering also costs you nothing except time, as we will supply everything you need including food to help you care for your foster dog or cat. And you can count on us to help and support you throughout the fostering process.

Volunteer.

 

We are always looking for people power – whether it’s helping us with animals at our intake centers before they are placed in foster homes, helping out at adoption or awareness events, or just getting the word out about what we do. We also need volunteers to help transport rescue animals that need help getting to us. Contact us about ways you can help! Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction not to mention helping a rescue in need.

We are always in need of donated pet food, toys, training tools, and other supplies to take care of our Misfits. You can find an updated list of our needs on our Amazon wish list. Even buying an inexpensive pet toys from the list can help a Misfit in their journey to a happy life!

The more people know about our animals and what we do, the more animals we can help. Share our posts on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM and tell your friends and family about us.
